Bonjour à tous
. OK OK, I’ll continue in English… Happy to participate to this big family reunion.About my time with SCUK… Georges Pereira was crazy enough to recruit and send the young unexperienced French I was at that time to DRC few years ago (in 2008 more exactly). This had been one of the most inspiring experience and it shaped my following career path in many ways. The team in DRC was just great and totally committed. The names of so many great people comes to my mind when I think about we went through. It was also the time of the SC Alliance creation and we were engaged actively in the process. Still today, I consider SC as a great organisation which brings a lot of positive vibes to this somehow difficult world. It’s made of great people that I admire a lot. I quit 7 years ago to come back to my home country, raise our kids and bring a little bit of what I learnt with SC people to my newly renamed organisation, Humanity and Inclusion.
As lots of my DRC colleagues used to say, SC is a great place to learn. I totally agree and I would add that it’s also a great place to have a real and lasting impact.
And by the way, thanks for the initiative of this alumni site and don’t forget… Be the change you want to see in the world.

Hi,I joined in May 1986 having been interviewed by the lovely Leonie Lonton and was based in Camberwell so I guess I was early era (yes pre- FOG Pete Smith!). I saw many changes over the decades, the 75th celebrations, the big MOVE to Farringdon and the transition to SCI! I worked in the Finance Department and in the finance team within Global (Overseas) Programmes but always based in HQ. I left in 2014 although I did return for a short stint in 2015.
