Hello everybody.
I began working with Save in 1989 in the now defunct sponsorship department. My boss then was the wonderful ‘Miss Derry’ or Antonia as I use to call her (it was her name, after all). After ‘spons’ was kicked into the time warp of history, I went to work for the wonderful Andrew Hutchinson who headed up the Education Unit – also now defunct (the unit I mean – it must be something I do) – finally leaving in 2006 -when I guess I was made defunct

I remember Nick Hinton – and later Mike Aaronson – both great ‘leaders’ – neither of whom seemed to mind me nicking their car parking space. I remember so many others too – many I’m still in touch with over fb.
I will be forever grateful to Save for the opportunities it offered me and for the learning I benefited from. I also remember the Kerfield – and the Grove …. and the Bear in Farringdon

This forum is a great idea Leonie…. you were always good at great ideas … Thank you.
Oh, yes, I moved down to Brighton (my lovely dad was on his last legs) and I now work for the Victoria Hospital in Lewes – I have a sofa bed so if anyone wants to come down and visit, you’d be more than welcome xx

I am Syed Sakhawat Hussain and from Kashmir (under Pakistan administrations). I worked with SCUK for 3 years in Logistics as my first ever assignment with any humanitarian organisation. SCUK has provided me the platform to learn more and grow within the organisation so that was the platform I managed to work with Save the Children US and SCI for many years.
My best gratitude to SC UK.18th March 2019 at 09:58 #19226Hi Dear all, my name is Joseph Thomas worked with Save the Children International Haiti from April 2012 – March 2013, I enjoyed working with SC staff. Looking forward to work with them again
