Over twenty years’ experience of programme management in the UK and overseas. After graduating I spent six years travelling the world before taking his first overseas assignment as a volunteer in Papua New Guinea, followed by a second volunteer assignment in Zambia, during this time he completed my master’s degree in Rural Development, taking exams in Papua New Guinea, the UK and Zambia. Since then I have managed programmes in South East Europe, Africa, Central Asia and the Caribbean, earning and MBA from Henley along the way. In October 2002 I joined Save the Children, first as Programme Planning and Operations Manager based in London then I moved to Belgrade as the Programme Director for the Balkans programme. In September 2008 I joined the sister organisation Save the Children Sweden as Regional Director for Southern Africa. Currently I work for Education Development Trust as Regional Director, providing leadership to the Sub Saharan Africa team based in Nairobi, I am passionate about supporting the team to deliver impact, real tangible changes in people’s lives.
