Mark Capaldi worked with Save the Children from 2001 to 2005 as Head of the Regional Office in the Southeast Asia region. He then became Deputy Director for ECPAT International (also based in Bangkok) till 2018 during which he got a PhD. He now is a lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand.
