I worked at Save the Children UK from 1991 to 2011 in various human resource development and programme policy roles, my last four years being as Head of the Effective Programmes team. In 2016 I left London and retired to Cornwall where I amuse myself with coastal walks, gardening, and serving on the regional NHS Research Ethics Committee in addition to various other pleasures.
