Worked as a VSO for my early mid-career break and changed career completely. Worked for Concern in a number of locations before returning to the UK and joining Save the Children as Rwanda's Genocide happened. Moved across to manage the southern Somalia programming before finding a few things happened to cause me to return and finish my MBA. Returned to Save supporting our work in southern Sudan before moving on to Oxfam and OLS, the EC. Other experiences built as family grew. Now back in East Africa using what skills, knowledge and experience I have accumulated for my family and the families we all set out to assist.
