Began working with SC in Sudan in Sefawa Refugee Camp in 1987, then worked in HR in London for four years before going overseas, first to West Africa (Regional Office and then Country Director, Mali/Sahel), and then to Sout East Asia (Country Director, Vietnam then the Regional Office). Since leaving SC in 2005 I have been working as a consultant in public sector reform, mostly in West Africa and mostly for the EU. Living in France, married to Nicole, with three (grown-up) children.
