Are you able to help locate 4 films on Masculinity made by 4 national film makers from each of Nepal, Pakistan, India and Bhutan around 2000 facilitated by Michael Etherton (Head of the SCF S. Asia Regional Office in Kathmandhu) in which they presented their personal view of how masculinity manifested itself in their countries. The funding was provided by SCF but largely by Unicef. These films are still very relevant today. For some reason Michael never kept a copy. He has now died but his widow would love to have copies. I am not sure in what format they were made. But there would seem to me to be a public interest in having these films released. Do you know who is responsible for the SCF archives and whether their release is possible or whether UNICEF’s agreement is also necessary and if so whose permission has also to be sought.
Any advise you can give me as to how I should go about this search and who I should contact would be most welcome. Thank you.
