Dear fellow-Alumni,
For those who couldn’t get to the first get-together in London last night, I wanted to flag up a few things coming up for the centenary…
1) ‘The Woman Who Saved the Children’, my award-winning biography of Eglantyne Jebb, is being republished in April. All royalties donated to SCF.
Please let me know if you would like a signed copy…
2) A new bronze bust of Eglantyne Jebb will be unveiled at the Royal Albert Hall (where SCF was launched) on 20 May.
It will then come to live permanently at SCF HQ London.
Do people think we should have an event to welcome Eglantyne back to SCF? Perhaps staff, volunteers & alumni, as a centenary get-together?
Could anyone take this forward?
3) I am giving some talks on Jebb around the country, and would be pleased to speak at more local literary festivals or history societies etc.
All talk fees to SCF
Please get in touch if you know of an event that might be interested…
Thanks all, Clare
