I currently work at Save the Children, and a colleague who works in the SC Sweden office contacted me on behalf of her mother, who worked with Save the Children UK in Afghanistan in 1978-9 in the nutrition programme.
Her name is Ghuncha Malekzai and she still has the written reference which was given to her when she ended her role as a nutritional research assistant at Save the Children. She wanted to find out any information about two British colleagues she worked with at that time. Unfortunately she cannot remember their full names but remembers them only as “Dr. kim and Marry” (Mary?).
Realise this is a long shot, but thought if anyone might be able to help her, this forum is the place!
